God damn I don’t believe this. Doughnut hamburger??? Is there anything more unhealthy (except booze and drugs) than this crap? It consists of a burger patty, chedder cheese, and two slices of bacon. The bun is a sliced Krispy Kreme glazed donut. Ewwwwww. (And I thought the bacon double cheese burger that I oh-so-love is bad.) The “nutritional” numbers are even more shocking: 1000 calories and 45g of fat. I mean, I might as well eat a bucket of lard mixed with sugar.

Did I mention they are selling this shit for $4.50 a pop? Are you kidding me?? They are trying to kill people while ripping them off as well.

Just for a change, I think they should sell sushi at ballparks, but then it probably would be $10 for two pieces of california rolls with fake crab meat in it.

Heh heh heh heh heh. I finally nailed it in my third attempt at red and mung bean soup. Red and mung bean soup is a chinese dessert and it’s great for summer. (Put it in the fridge and served cold.) My first attempt was a disaster even though I asked for advices from my mother. It became some kind of gelatin-like “thing” after being refrigerated. The second attempt was much better but the red beans weren’t cooked thorough enough. As a result the taste was a little lacking. After going over my mistakes this time I finally got it right. It isn’t so great that it rivals the ones in restaurants but it’s pretty darn close to the way my mother makes it. That’s good enough for me. (Hey, it’s edible and the taste isn’t bad!)

To be fair, it isn’t something that requires much skill. The worst part is the tedium of watching the stuff boils in the pot for 2 hours or so. If you don’t keep your eyes on it it will spill all over the stove and become a big mess.

Anyway, I’m pretty happy. Next time I will try to make sago with coconut milk.
